Weymouth Recreation offers a competitive developmental swim team for children ages 6 - 18
Stroke technique, physical fitness, self confidence, and positive self esteem are the primary goals and benefits of being a member of our swim team.
We swim in the South Shore Summer Swim League during the Summer and Swim against regional club teams during the school year.

Swim Meets - All Meets require a registration. ($10-$15 to cover meet expenses and/or pool rentals) Swim Meets are open to current team members of the Weymouth Blue Sharks only.

Swim Team is for children who are competent swimmers and should be able swim 100 yards w/o stopping to join. Younger swimmer 6-10 should be able to swim Crawlstroke and Backstroke with proficiency and have a working knowledge of Breaststroke and Butterfly, and be able to swim more than 25 yards with out stopping.
