Parent & Child: Ages 2-3 yrs.
Parent & Child - Designed for parents and children to become comfortable and have fun in an aquatic environment through water games, songs and basic swim instruction. Children must wear swim diapers if not fully toilet trained.
Pre-School: Ages 3-6 yrs. (prior to 1st grade)
Designed for children to become comfortable in the water and learn basic swimming skills and water safety through basic skill instruction, games, and activities.
Improving on skills from Level I, children will be introduced to more advanced skills such as floating, diving, and treading water. Independent swimming for short distances is encouraged.
Our most advanced class for pre-school children, crawlstroke and backstroke are taught. Water safety and other advanced skills will also be taught. Improving basic skills such as diving, floating and treading water.
School Age Grades 1-6
Designed to help non-swimmer children become acquainted with the water & water safety. Learn basic swimming skills through games and activities.
More advanced swimming skills; children are independent and confident in deep water. Working on Crawlstroke, backstroke and diving. Personal safety and basic water safety skills are reviewed.
Students at this level are competent swimmers. Skills from the Adv. Beg. level are improved upon and new strokes such as Sidestroke, Elementary Backstroke & Breaststroke are taught. Diving, personal safety, water safety & age appropriate rescue skills are taught.
Adult Beginner Classes
Designed for the adult non-swimmer. Basic swimming skills will be introduced, with more advanced skills taught as participants become ready to advance.
- Registration for the Winter Swimming Lessons will begin on Tuesday, January 21.
- Winter classes are 8 weeks long.
