Health and Fitness Classes with Health Department
Weymouth Recreation and Weymouth Health Department provide Health and Fitness classes to promote a healthier you and a healthier community. From Tai Chi, Yoga, Pound, Small Group Training and Zumba.
Each Zumba® class is designed to bring people together.

ZUMBA is a fun way to take a break from your daily routines and participate in a group class where you will have fun, burn calories, improve your cardio, condition and tone your muscles and improve your core!
Bring a smile, water and sneakers and dance the night away!
Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, & strength training with yoga & Pilates-inspired movements.

A Matter of Balance Program
Offered by the Weymouth Health Department, A MATTER OF BALANCE is a FREE award-winning, evidence-based program designed to manage falls concerns and increase activity levels. Participants learn to:
Improve balance, flexibility and strength; Gain confidence and view falls as controllable; Make changes to reduce fall risks at home.
FREE 8 WEEK PROGRAM: February 20th – April 10th
Tufts Library: Tuesdays, 10am – 12pm. Snacks will be provided at each class.

Self-paced, low-impact Falls Prevention class with movements to promote balance, flexibility, strength and range of motion.
