MARKET REGULATIONS
FEE SCHEDULEWinter Market - $200
Individual Markets - $35 per market (Minimum of 2, dependent on availability and vendor assortment)

REGULATIONSPriority will be given to Food, Full Season and Returning Vendors in good standing
Limited Spaces Available.
Vendors are required to supply their own tables and chairs.
Food vendors will require a permit from the Weymouth Health Department unless they meet a Farmers Market exemption.
All vendors are encouraged to carry insurance for all Town of Weymouth Events.
FOOD VENDORS selections will be notified via email no later than October 30th.
NON-FOOD VENDOR selections will be notified via email no later than October 30th.
Space is not guaranteed until payment is received in full.
Refunds will be considered on a case by case basis after payment is made.
After October 30th, additional vendor applications will be reviewed and approved as space allows.
Prohibited Items
Items that generate excessive waste, such as silly string and bomb bags, are strictly prohibited.

Vendors found selling these items will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.
No vendor may sell or distribute illegal or unapproved items or substances.
TAXES & INSURANCE
Food and Service Vendors are required to provide proof of liability insurance covering bodily injury claims
Service Vendors are defined as: "Any vendor providing personal services that involve direct physical contact with attendees, including but not limited to face painting, henna tattoos, airbrush art, temporary tattoos, permanent jewelry, or similar body applications."
Additionally, Service Vendors must follow proper hygiene and sanitation practices, including using disposable applicators, sanitized tools, and skin-safe products. If applicable, minors receiving services may require parental/guardian consent.
Non-Food and Non-Service vendors may request a waiver for insurance coverage. Requests must be submitted in writing at least seven (7) days before the event to
farmersmarket@weymouth.ma.us.
Once your application is confirmed, you must submit a Certificate of Insurance from your insurance provider.Vendors must comply with Massachusetts sales tax regulations.
Insurance is required for FOOD vendors. All vendors are strongly encouraged to carry product and liability insurance, with the Town of Weymouth listed as an additional insured party. Minimum coverage requirements:
General Comprehensive Liability: $1,000,000 per occurrence, $3,000,000 aggregate.
Payment & Refund Policy
Payment details will be provided after your application is approved.
Refunds will be considered on a case by case basis after payment is made.
Fee Usage
All vendor fees support future community events organized by the Town of Weymouth.
Upon confirmation of your application, you will be required to submit a copy of your Certificate of Insurance (obtained from your insurance agent)
Once your registration application is submitted and approved you will be contacted regarding how to make payment. Refunds will be considered on a case by case basis after payment is made.
